Our Services

Respites

Respite contributes to a parent’s physical and mental balance, but also to that of the child!

As a parent, a break allows you to shop or to attend an appointment, to go out with your partner/friends, to train or to work, or to simply recharge your batteries. Options for you to thrive outside of your role as a parent are endless.

Children, meanwhile, take advantage of this opportunity to make new friends. They develop new social, motor, intellectual, and emotional skills through free-play or structured games.

The outings organized and supervised by the educators allow children to discover or rediscover a whole new world of possibilities.

COVID: Wearing a mask is manditory for children over 10 years of age.

Aux petits plaisirs : weekend respite

This collaborative project, notably with the City of Rosemère and the CISSS des Laurentides, allows families with a severely diagnosed child to benefit from a weekend respite.

This service contributes to the physical and mental balance of the parents, but also that of the child:

Parents can take advantage of this break to recharge their batteries, rest, spend time together or with their friends. Options to thrive outside of our role as a parent are endless, but they are often complicated by a child's diagnosis.

Children, meanwhile, take advantage of this opportunity to develop new social, motor, intellectual and emotional skills through free or structured play. The outings organized and supervised by the educators allow children to discover or rediscover a whole new world of possibilities.

Maison Parenfant welcomes severely diagnosed children aged 3 to 12 and their siblings in the presence of trained, dedicated and trusted educators who are motivated to make a difference in the lives of these children and their families.

At 70$ per child, the respite includes:
  • a stay from Friday (7pm) to Sunday (3:30pm)
  • meals and snacks
  • diversified indoor and outdoor activities
  • special outings organized by the educators according to the season, age and interest of the children

Registrations are made through the CISSS des Laurentides.
